Job Purpose:

Green Valley Nutrition is changing the public perspective on cannabis products in Virginia. We provide a natural alternative to conventional treatment by offering lab tested, clinically studied, and locally sourced cannabinoid technology you can trust. We are growing quickly and as part of our scaling-up process, we are looking to expand our team of experienced production specialists to help manufacture top-quality CBD supplements. All of our products, from CBD Oil Drops to Pain Cream to CBDog Treats, require specialized care and attention to detail to ensure what's in the bottle matches what's on the label. Job Duties:

  • Experience in the manufacture and assembly of small precision components
  • Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to multi-task and use a variety of manufacturing methods
  • Participate in the company’s Quality Management system
  • Keep workspaces clean and organized
  • Assemble finished products for distribution
  • Use microscopes and other inspection equipment for in-process inspection, and document and communicate inspection results
  • Keep careful, thorough and readable notes in a lab notebook
  • Report all incidents, hazardous conditions, and emergencies
  • Perform an assessment of risk of his/her work activities and taking corrective action
  • Properly use and maintain assigned control measures complying with VDACS rules & regulations
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE)

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team;
  • High school degree or equivalency required, technical school valued
  • 3+ years of on-the-job manufacturing or technical experience in a precision environment
